Welcome to the Forum. As you will have noted it's a rather quiet little backwater - for the time being at least  .

Would you like to share a bit of background about yourself - are you UK or otherwise based, what do you do, your interests, etc.? I'd also be interested to know how you came across the site - helps me know what works  .

To answer the question on another thread, yes, I am the sole moderator, which is why my name is scattered about all over the place  .

For the past 2 years now I've been learning all about setting up websites and a bit of internet marketing stuff to promote my EFT and Reiki practice and my menopause eBook. This forum is a wee side-shoot of all that and until I can pick up more numbers it is slow-growing.

I am a member of the Dr Bernsteins's Diabetes forum; they use this format, although their's is an older version. My husband, who is the one with diabetes - I'm his "info gopher" as I enjoy that sort of thing and it ties in with my natural medicine background - liked the look of the forum; as a computer buff he downloaded the programme to set his own little forum up, more as an exercise. When he found it relatively straight forward, I decided to get this one up and running. So it's my little project.

Of course, the more members who subscribe, the more interesting input for people to look at and come back to to add their own comments but getting to that stage takes time.

In the meantime, it does serve a useful purpose insofar that I can use it as a kind of repository for topics and items of interest, which can be a lot easier to find on here than amongst all the bumf on the PC .

I hope that you will choose to stick around, and please, if you know anyone else who might be interested, spread the word  .
